Saving breast milk after traveling
My husband and I have been away from our baby for 5 days and I have been pumping regularly to keep my supply going. We were able to store the milk bags in a refrigerator, but not freeze them, and kept cold in a cooler for the drive.
How long is the milk good for? We left on a Wednesday and returned on a Sunday. What can I freeze, what should I use right away, and what needs to be tossed?
