Did your life become boring after having a kid?

I asked my boyfriend just messing around I was like why is my life so boring ! And he said I mean look at you ? And I was like what do looks have to do with being boring and he said no not looks but you have a kid (from my previous relationship) and I was like well right now we don't and we still are being lame (since my child is off with dad)

Having my first child calmed me down from my wild crazy behavior... but my life is more hectic now (in a good way)

Kind of. I'm pretty much a sahm,  we live on a farm so I do help out and once it gets to summer my lo will be in nursery 3 days as the farm will be much busier. Anyway my point,  I adore my lo and in some ways my life is way more exciting with her but,  my lo is very much a mummys girl and doesn't really play with her dad so from 530am-7pm it's all me. She's also not the best at entertaining herself yet so atm once she's asleep then I start cleaning so I find my life boring in that it's the same routine all the time and I'd love to read a book or go to a spinning class but right now I don't have the time. I also miss be able to just randomly decide to go to the cinema or dine out but I know I signed up for that when I got pregnant

Sort of. Once you become a mother, you lose a lot of the freedom being kid free had. I had my two oldest in college so I didn't get to go off on spring break trips or girls trips.  On the other hand, bejng a mother comes with its own adventures.

Boring?!no. Tiring, hectic, never enough time in a day (or night), exausting,worried, happy, scared?YES.but no never boring.i stay at home but I can't say my life is boring...

Where's the "absolutely no way in hell did it get boring"? Our son is only 8 months old and it's been the BEST time ever. It's so exciting watching him grow. We love to watch him, and we don't even remember what we did without him lol very far from boring

No way! My life is far more hectic and often more fun for it. I have to find little pockets of adult fun time for my husband and I between all of the chaos and activities my Kindergartner is into.. I know it will only get better when baby #2 comes in October and they keep getting older and more involved with their own activities. I think my child has forced both more fun and productivity into my life.
