I've always felt very sexual and wanting attention but I'm only 18, having sex with people is pretty much always slut shamed in high school, do you think it's slutty that I " sleep around"

I feel like it's normal for teenagers to be very sexual, but sleeping around shouldn't be some empowerment thing for us if that's what you're trying to do, bc that's just damaging. By definition would you be considered a slut for sleeping around? Yeah, but who really cares though! 😂

I slept around a lot (like, a lot) when I was younger and only as I got older did I realise I was desperate for validation and had a deep need to be wanted and desired.

I think it really depends on why you're doing it. I'm for women embracing their sexual side but from experience, most teenagers aren't doing it for healthy reasons. I slept around a lot when I was younger, I wanted and craved love and acceptance. I just wanted to feel important and my 15 year old self thought sex was the way to feel these things. Don't do it for validation because you're looking in the wrong spots, do it if you genuinely just enjoy doing it.

I mean if you're being safe and respecting yourself and others, nobody should really care what you do.. however you're in hs, so you're just going to have to ignore people's judgements and do what you think is right.
