Thought it was my period

Hi all,

Need some feedback. Two days ago I went to the bathroom...wiped and saw blood. I was like oh, period cam early...5 days early but whatever. Put on a tampon but thought it was strange no cramping. Went to change my tampon 8 hours later and it only had a little blood. Since then...nothing. my boobs are killing me but nag. Preggo tests. The blood was brown too. Not even red. So I'm not sure. My period isn't due for another 2 or 3 days so I'm not late. Should I keep testing ? Could that have been implementation?
