HELP, getting married!

I just joined because I decided to raise my hand for help! I'll admit I'm a bit clueless as to lots of things...I'm 20 and a virgin...getting married to my high school love in August after I turn 21. I'm currently on birth control to regulate my period but in my religion and what I believe we do not have sex before marriage and contraception is not encouraged. So my gut feeling is I should get off the pill before my wedding. I'm just nervous though because I've never had sex and I don't want kids right away. What do I do? I feel clueless and embarrassed to ask most people 😔
