is this normal?

This was my first miscarriage and D&C, I had the surgery Friday afternoon and had some light spotting that night. Saturday and Sunday I didn't even have spotting just barely a pale pink tint on the toilet paper when I'd wipe, now yesterday about 4-5pm I began to start spotting red and by time I was getting ready for bed around 9:30pm I was doubled over in pain and have been having heavy dark red bleeding since and extremely painful cramping. Is it normal for it to fluctuate like this? I just want hear anyone's experience before I call my doctor and chance having to go in and see all the happy currently pregnant women in the office 😪
