dog behavioral issues
Looking for advice! My due date is tomorrow, but for the past month my 1 year old dog has been peeing EVERYWHERE in the house. She was potty trained before and we never had any issues but the closer I've been getting to my due date the more she's peeing. Seriously I took a shower the other day and when I came out to the living room there were FOUR pees on my carpet! She even tries to pee ON things, like the leg of my couch or my husbands guitar stand.
I've read on other websites that some women experienced this towards the end of their pregnancy and it was due to the dog sensing changes in their body.
I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if the dog stopped after the baby was born. And what you did in the mean time to control it. I'm DESPERATE.
I rent an apartment and it's all carpet and I'm going to lose my security deposit.
Not to mention my house smells, I've shampooed the carpets three times, and I just can't keep up with her anymore.
I love my dog to death but I am at wits end with her.
