Baby cereal and formula?

Question

So baby is just about 4 months and I'm dying to start giving him some food because he's so interested 😂

I was planning to mix the rice cereal with formula because I don't get to pump much with this hungry boy, and when I do I like to save it for emergencies 😅

What is the best formula for this, or in general?

I used enfamil newborn when babe was just a few days old before my milk came in, but it has since expired, and I couldn't stand the smell of that 😩

I think Amy formula is fine. Since you used Enfamil before I would just stick with that.

You can skip cereal and go straight to puréed fruit and veggies. Cereal is just empty calories.

On the box of cereal, it will say how to prepare it for the first feeding. You should not put it in a bottle, but feed with a bowl and spoon. My daughter loves it, and after a few days I started mixing in stage one purees. I do one teaspoon cereal, about three or four teaspoons formula, and a teaspoon of purée at dinner all mixed together. It's sooooo fun!
