does anyone know about this? please help!

can a cop do anything to me if he made a mistake then realized days later? two nights ago i got pulled over for running a stop sign well im only 15 and have my permit and didn't have an adult with me. the cop thought my permit was a license for some reason and let me go with a ticket. if he finds out days later can i still be punished? like the punishments are getting my permit taken away and not being able to drive for five years and going to juvenile. so since he made a mistake does that mean im out of it? please please please answer im so desperate!
