How did you successfully kickstart your labour?

Question

I'm a day over due and scheduled for a membrane sweep in 3 days. I do NOT wanna do that. Also even if I do have that there's hardly any chance of it actually working within a short amount of time.

I KNOW babies come when they are ready but is there anything you believe you successfully did jump start your labour?

I will try anything at this point!

I've been taking EPO capsules and inserting them, I have had sex every day, walked.

I've heard eggplant Parmesan works. It sounds utterly bizarre but I've heard it several times

I went into labor after I had to visit my in laws. I was very uncomfortable around them and my mother in law decided to rub my belly....big no no to me. 
On my way home when I finally relaxed my water broke.

Maybe you can find a situation that makes you tense??

I opted for the membrane sweep because otherwise I would have needed to be induced which I was not on board with. The sweep was just a little uncomfortable but it was successful for me! I went into labor that next day. It's not too bad trust me.

Look it up. It's a midwive's tale but seems to have some clinical backing.
