being induced
At 33 weeks I was diagnosed with placental insufficiency and IUGR (intrauterine growth restriction) and my amniotic fluid levels are constantly fluctuating even though I drink 4-8 liters of water a day which is about 17-34 cups of water a day, the lowest it has gotten is 1.8 but baby has never been in distress and the non-stress tests have been perfect every time. I have been hospitalized 8 days in two weeks and my doctor told me I will be induced at 37 weeks (I'm 35 today) regardless of if the baby is in distress due to the fluid not being constant. What is being induced like and does baby have to drop before being induced? And how do I set up the induction?
