I play the bagpipes and my next parade I will be 9 weeks, I haven't seen my midwife yet and just wondering has anyone played them before while pregnant and is it safe??

One of my friends played while pregnant and while it is safe, you might have problems with shortness of breath and general discomfort towards the third trimester as the diaphragm gets more compressed.

I’m due to play in November for Remembrance Day. I’m in my second trimester. I’m hoping I can still fit into my kilt but it’s not looking good! I am worried about the noise level as well being the chanter is so close to bubs and hearing is developed around 20 weeks. How did you get on?
