TTC for almost a year....

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost a year (April will make a year). I know he is fine cause he has a daughter already. I've been to my doctor 3 times already but he has yet to draw any blood or anything. It's very clear that I am not ovulating like i should. I've only had 8 periods in the last year. I also had a miscarriage in November. He put me on 200mg progesterone to jump start my cycle but I feel like there is more he could be doing that he isn't.... Opinions?!??
