IVF now or after Weight Loss Surgery
I could use some advice from anyone in a position to give it. I'm 35 and in a same sex marriage - meaning in order to conceive I'll have to have fertility treatments. I've tried 3 IUIs but none were successful. My doctor told me it was better to try to conceive now, at this age, rather than spending a year or two losing weight and coming in for treatments when I'm that much older.
I'm frustrated with myself because I've had a weight problem ever since college. I've gained and lost more than 100lbs on 3 separate occasions. I always believed that I'd be able to have children when I was ready, but now here I am at this age and this heavy weight again trying to beat the clock and conceive before I get much older.
Can anyone offer some sage advice?
