C-section rules?! What can't you do?

Can I have my nails and toes painted for a C-section? Am I allowed to wear a little makeup? This may differ from hospital to hospital, I don't know.

I wouldn't wear a dark nail color for the 02. I did that at the doctor and it was saying my oxygen was low 😂

Yeah, I had a cesarean and my nails were painted. Makeup is your prerogative. I just plan on getting a wax and my eyelashes touched up beforehand. 😊

I didn't have any rules. I got my nails done the day before and my hair blown out and wore makeup lol. I just wanted to feel as good as possible. 
Take a really good shower the night before and shave everything you normally do because it's going to be a while before you can do that again (just too sore to bend over or lift your arms all the way to get your underarms).

The hospital I gave birth at didn't have rules that I couldn't have my nails painted but I also had an emergency csection. Maybe call your hospital and check

Only rules I know are no jewelry, and be prepared to be shaved :)
