Work problems

I know they legally can't make me quit or fire me because I am pregnant but my boss sat me down and was talking about what I'll do and she pretty much made it sound like she'd like me to give in my two weeks notice... Which I am going to the doctor next week and I'm also scared I have preeclampsia. Which put me in bed rest anyways and I would have to quit but I just feel kind of sad she wants me to do that since I do a lot for the store, and I would most likely not come back. Has anyone else experienced this?
