Labor??

Question

Ladies how do you know when you are in labor?? With my first i was 17 yrs old and had to be induced so i dont really know how labor starts. Right now i am getting really bad back pains and from my first thats all i remember, back pain. I dont remember getting any abdominal pain so when people talk about contractions i just remember my experience of only back pain

I had a slight leak by of my waters, and regular contractions every 15mins, within an hour they had increased in intensity and were every 10mins and got progressively stronger and frequent x

Mine started off with back pain as well. Almost like period cramps (I always get them in my lower back). They weren't timeable but they got more intense so we decided to go to the hospital. When we got there I was only 3cm dilated and the monitors weren't picking up any contractions on my belly 😑 so they started to get all my discharge papers together when my water broke. After that if was 2 hours and 46 minutes and my son was here. That whole time I had back labor never any contractions on my belly. So the monitors never picked anything up. Apparently a lot of women get back labor.  If you feel like they are getting more intense or frequent I would just go to the hospital. Better to be safe
