How would you girls feel if..?

If you dated a guy for 7 months and when you two break up he goes around town and calls you a slut and a whore when neither of that is true because you treated him PERFECTLY. And your dad is good friends with him and when you tell him later on that your ex called you those things he says "what person isn't gonna call someone names after they break up" and basically says it isn't a problem and continues to be good friends with the guy? All opinions are welcome.

Ummm my dad would be punching him right in the face if he knew he was calling me a whore and other names. Not every ex calls their ex partner names. Only the fucking disrespectful pussy ones.

Err breaking up isn't an excuse to give each other unfitting, petty names. Dude can't even be mature about it. Also no disrespect but your dad saying 'who doesn't do that' is just giving the notion that you should let this boy go around being disrespectful to your name and you should be okay with that? You shouldn't just shrug that off, if parents are letting this happen then it just lets the younger generation of boys think they can just say whatever they want about girls and be hurtful etc. That. Is not. Okay. You can't just let boys do whatever and use excuses, they need to wake up and pay respect. Ugh.

Been there. It is extremely rude and disrespectful. But in my experience, your dad's right. And the more you try to defend yourself the more drama/badmouthing you're going to get. Honestly just leave it alone and if someone says they heard it or calls you that you tell them they can either believe the rumor of an ex-boyfriend or get to know who you really are. If they choose to believe him then that's someone you don't need in your life. 
After me and an ex split up he did the same thing and in reality he was everything he was claiming I was. Had to cut off a lot of people from life and it sucked because I thought they were my friends, but my life became very drama free and I'm happy with that. At first when I tied defending myself every time my ex would just say something more or try and talk to me to start shit.
