starting solids
My son is 5.5 months now, and we just started some solids. My question is, how much should I be feeding him? We are only doing about an ounce of solids at most once a day. When would I increase this to multiple times a day? I'm not looking to really wean him yet, we're doing well with breastfeeding. I come from a formula family, so I have no idea what normal is for adding solids into a breastfed baby's diet. I've read to not give them more than an ounce of solids a day till they are a year, and I've also read to have them on 3 meals a day of solids by 7-8 months. Both seem a little extreme to me. Any advice?
