headaches

Jessica
I get headaches pretty much everyday, and have done since I was a kid. I've been to a paediatrician who told me to 'drink more and go to sleep earlier' which I did and nothing's happened. I've been to every single doctor in my surgery and not only have they tried to blame it on hormones every time most of them didn't even log that I visited them about headaches (which I found out from a doctor when she asked why haven't I been to see about them before)
I'm nearly 18 and my headaches will range from being able to continue with my everyday life, to not being able to stand up because of the pain or actually being sick because of the pain. My headaches are always in the same place every time and I can pinpoint it with 3 fingers to the top/middle left part of my head.
I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to stop them or suppress them just so I can get through exams being able to concentrate on my work instead of how to get rid of my headaches.
I don't take tablets for them because nothing works, and they told me I could become resistant to the tablets when I need them for something else.
I have been referred to a neurologist but it'll be a while before they get in touch with me so I'm kind of giving up on that
Any suggestions would be helpful (just not taking tablets) thanks
