Fathers allowed to see children no matter what?

I strongly disagree with all fathers allowing to see their children, many are drug users/dealers, been charge off sex charges, fighting and more but still get to see their children. I've been known to this issue due to me fighting in court my babies dad is a drug users /dealer and has been charged for historical sex abuse charges! What's your view ladies?

Agree. My baby's father is extremely abusive. He would hit me all the time, verbally abuse me and even threatened my family. It took me a year but I got out of the relationship recently. I'm 5 months pregnant. I never told him about the baby and plan on raising her as a single parent. I refuse to let my daughter think it is okay for any man to lay a finger on a woman or treat her horribly like he treated me. She basically saved my life. Without her and becoming pregnant I probably would have never left that relationship... I owe her the world and I'm so lucky I didn't lose her the last time he beat me good..all his aims were at my stomach too..I'm so blessed to have her💕

I plan on getting full custody and giving him no rights. I have plenty of proof he's a drug user and not trying to get better.

Family court is more about biological parent "ownership" than protecting the child, sadly.

My daughters father was abusive to me. Physically and mentally. Kept me locked away in the house. I wasn't allowed outside to to talk to my mother for almost a year. What erks me is he did end with visitation and our daughter is now 5 and because his selfish pushing and treating his daughter as a way to get to me there is cops involved and courts involved. Some things little ones just don't say.  I wish I had moved and left before our papers were inprocess and before he could hurt her.

I think it depends. I mean I have a drug charge before my first daughter was born, I've recently been in jail for domestic violence (yeah the cops arrested me because of my record but not my baby dad which was bullshit in itself) and I've had a troubled past/life. That doesn't make me any less of a good mother, just a bad judgement caller sometimes. 
Abusive relationships are a different matter. I'd fear for my child's safety. In those cases however, the best thing to do is file for a PFA for you and the child. A lot of courts will let the father have visitations, whether they're supervised or not so I'd act quickly with a PFA

It's fine. Kids/ babies don't need that kinda dad in their life, especially if the mom had that kind of dad.

Yes! I totally 100% agree! The father of my child has been in jail twice for the most stupidest of things! He has a probation officer! He still drinks, but he sales weed, and other drugs. He's a lowlife punk, who doesn't even have a job, never even had a job! He curses, and abuses his pets! I don't want him any where close to my child! Some guys are just BAD INFLUENCE!

I can't trust my daughter's father at all at this point, he's too much of a loose cannon and just not well mentally. So if we split he's never seeing her again.

I agree that not all men should be allowed to have contact with their children. I'm living in Switzerland and here they really want the men to have contact with the child. They say every child has two parents and has the right to know both of them. But my Ex wants nothing to do with me and my baby and he doesn't want me to name him as the father when the baby is born. But they want me to name the father. They won't force me but pressure me. And then they are gonna try to make him have contact with the child. I asked if it's possible that he is not allowed to see the child because he was emotional abusive in the relationship and is threatening me to make my life hell and try to take my child from me if I name him. But they said he has supervised contact then. But I don't want any contact he doesn't want contact either. So that's that they are still gonna try to make us have contact
