Trying to conceive with metformin and pcos

Hi Ladies, my husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 8 months now 😕 and nothing yet...I am over weight and also have PCOS on both ovaries... My doctor put me on metformin 3 weeks ago and i got my menstrual cycle that same week...now I am spotting which i dont know if it just in between period spotting or if there is actually a bun in the oven 😏 eell let me know if any of you has success stories with metformin 😄😄😄
