Cloth Diapers?

Does anyone have advice on cloth diapers?  I'm going that route to save money but I also don't want to wind up with a ton of extra work... or a mess!!

We do kangacare rumaparoos.  The microfiber inserts made it to about a year and we had to switch to bamboo for the extra absorbancy.  A year and half now and all diapers are holding up wonderfully.  We have about 30 and we launder every 3 days.  It gets easier over time as the poops become more and more solid.  We have a diaper sprayer on our toilet, that's what got us through all those breast milk poops.  It is more work than simply throwing a diaper away, but she never leaks and she's never pooped up her back, the diapers are so absorbent it literally sucks the moisture right out of any diarrhea and there are no accidents.  It's just like anything else though, it's easier if your partner is on board and once you have a routine down, it's no big deal.

They are really not as much work as everyone thinks. Some people don't like them because you have to spray the diapers off, but the way I see it is that you're gonna be a parent. You're gonna touch some poo sometimes, unfortunately. To me, it's worth the money saved to go with cloth diapers. Plus they are so cute! 
I'm pregnant with my first, but my MIL has two little ones, and she is giving me all of their out grown cloth diapers (like 150+!). 
What she's told me, is that really the only difference is that instead of throwing the used diaper away, you spray it off in the bathroom, then throw it in the wash. Doesn't seem too bad to me! Plus cloth diapers are so cute! And better for little baby bums.
