sleeping through babies cry ??

Question

I'm a first time mum and I'm single so I'm doing everything by myself and last night my baby fell asleep at 11pm. He was completely out of it. At 10pm I did make a bottle up but he didn't want it.

His last feed was at 8:30pm and he's just woke up now at 6:15am for a feed. I'm wondering that with it being a long time. Is it possible he could've cried during the night and I've slept through it ???

Or is it normal for him to sleep for that long ? He's 11 weeks old

My son became a really good sleeper for a little while around that time. I couldn't ever sleep through his cries. It was like an alarm went off and the moment he began to cry, I sprang into action lol. I don't think you slept through his cry. Is he in the same room as you for bedtime?

Same here mine started sleeping 11 hours and she is only 3 mouths old

Totally possible he slept that long. Mine started sleeping for 11 hours at 8 weeks.

If a baby is hungry they will scream until fed. You would have woken up eventually

It is possible especially if you're sleep deprived. At one point I slept through my babies cries for two nights in a row and my boyfriend had to wake me up. But if that happened baby probably just cried til he passed back out or maybe he slept through the night! Either way you shouldn't worry too much. Just try to get some naps in with baby during the day so you make sure you're getting some sleep too
