Where do you get your essential oils?

Question

I'm hearing so much lately of essential oils at department stores aren't reputable, that only ones from certain websites are or one from a seller like "young living" or  "it works".

What are your thoughts? How can someone really know?

I use to work at a dept store with them and purchased it from there. The location I just moved to has the same dept store I use to work at.. and I don't think there's anything wrong with them? 
Could I get it from there still because it's fine or what would you suggest?

I personally use Doterra! I have a couple reasons why I chose them
Over Young Living! Mostly reward points are higher and the level / dollar amount to earn free products is lower! I
Also really love how they find the indigenous growing places and help build communities! Including schools etc! They had a growing community is Haiti that was destroyed by the hurricane and they helped rebuild it! The project is called co impact sourcing! I use essential

DoTerra and young living are the ONLY brands I'd recommend if you plan to use them on your skin, hair, or for cooking. 
Any brand is okay if you just want to diffuse them in the air.
