Baby question

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and me and the father haven't spoken in a while and when we do speak we never agree on anything. He didn't want the baby in the first place but I always wanted another baby. When the baby is born I don't want to give him my last name or the fathers will I be able to give him a different last name? ( No rude comments or just don't comment at all) TIA
