Any expecting mama's on Pulmicort or Albuterol for asthma?
I've had asthma (and allergies) my entire life and I've taken both maintenance and rescue inhalers for as long as I can remember. Since getting pregnant my asthma has gotten a bit worse. I am easily winded and have had to take my rescue inhaler multiple times. Yesterday my doc switched me to Pulmicort for daily maintenance and said I could continue using my ProAir (generic Albuterol) as needed for rescue. I'm a bit nervous to take anything during pregnancy, but my doc assured me they're both safe to take (class B-- there are no class A inhalers) and that me not breathing properly for myself and our little one is way worse than the meds. Anyone out there use these during your pregnancy with no issues for baby long term?
