Sex life after baby💩

My child is 6 months old, and we've only had sex a handful of times since. I don't find it very enjoyable, and I always get so sore after. I feel bad for SO, and sometimes just let him do his thing while wishing it to just end😷 How soon after baby did your sex life resume? I also feel super self conscious about the way my body looks now which doesn't help the situation.
