birth control

Has anybody taken their birth control even when they weren't on their period? The school nurse took it with me and she knew that I wasn't on my period. So in the pack there is a row of green pills that are reminder pills and sopposly in that week is when I will get my period. This app says that I will get my period in 5 days and I have been taking the pill for 4 days and I will continue, will my period come when it's time for me to take the green pills which is at the end of the month or will it come close to the day that the app says?
