social media bounds

i made a finsta a couple weeks ago and my boyfriend found it and asked to follow it. i had some personal stuff on it about our relationship and how i felt about certain things and i knew it would hurt him so i took it down before i let him follow the page. it was a free space for me to vent about whatever i wanted and only my close friends follow it. am i wrong for wanting this account without him following it?
