The wait for your first appointment

I've been freaking out since I found out my husband and I are expecting. We are SO excited and the month long wait for my first appointment is killing me! Has anyone else taken tests once a week just to confirm you're still prego? It almost doesn't feel real yet so taking the tests makes me feel a little better in that five minutes of doubt. My first appointment is not until 3/20 😞 think I will get an ultrasound then? I'll be 8 weeks.
