ovulation?

Could what I was feeling yesterday be ovulation pain? I woke up yesterday and had this sharp pain below my belly button and also to my right side, it almost felt like period cramps but it lasted all day and today it is gone. I thought it could be gas or had to go #2 but that didn't help either. I'm 20 days away from my period and three days away from my "fertile window" .... what do ovulation pains feel like?
