period stains :(

so, i bought a really cute pair of thongs that matched his bra, (came in a set) and i was really looking forward to wear them when it came down to a special night with my boyfriend. i wore them one day and of course, mother nature had to come and COMPLETELY RUIN my thongs.

Anyone have any ideas to get the blood (dry) out? I tried bleach, didn't work, normal washing didn't either. the things are baby pink, and I really want them back :(
