Military ID

I was recently married and haven't been able to enroll into deers yet, long story. I have an appointment March 2nd to do so. I have not changed my last name on my license yet because I work crazy hours and have a baby. Is the military ID going to replace my license or will I have both? Do I need to go change my name on the license before I go and get my military ID or does it matter? I have my married certificate and my new ssc as well as my old one. I have the letter from the ssc administration from when I changed it.
