Bf with cancer...

So my bf and I have been dating 13 months now. We found out he had stage 3 melanoma skin cancer when we were only dating 2months. He's had 3 surgeries and is starting chemo again next week. The idea of children are obviously on the back burner but we do plan to get married someday. My question is...are any of you women going through something similar? A S.O going through cancer or yourself? I'm finally allowing it to hit me and I'm not sure how to keep it all in. Thanks...
