So my hubby thinks that I look at other guys when I don't...we will be out and he will randomly get quite and then I ask what is wrong and he says " you and your looking problem" and I'm in total shock because I didn't look at anyone. I tell him every time that he does this that I haven't and didn't look at anyone. It's so frustrating because he only considers what his eyes think they see and not what is actually happening. So I'm always wrong and have to be looking at someone. I always just get quite after I tell him I didn't look at any guys because it's useless to try and convince him... anyone else had to deal with this? How did you overcome it? Other than leaving him.

Tell him your looking to see if you can tell if they are less controlling and emotionally abusive than him, because you're in the market for a guy who doesn't treat you that way.

Tell him that just because he's insecure every time he sees a handsome man pass by does not mean that you are looking at him. In fact, he's the only one looking and the only one who cares. He needs to stop using his insecurity as a way to control where your eyes go. Let him know that he is adequate and you love him and he doesn't need to compare himself to other people but he needs to trust you even if he did see you looking at somebody. You need to be trusted and you will not be controlled.

It's very hard to remind someone they are loved when they don't even have self worth. Does he ever talk to you about his confidence? Remember you are his mirror, he is your mirror. What's not balanced inside of him, this is what you reveal to him. It's retrograde season which we can use as a parallel to describe our doubts and our insecurities being exaggerated this time of the year lol we've all been going mad lately I feel you! anyway, try spending more time just enjoying each other, cuddling, reminding him you're there... you're going to have to be very patient and strong. If he isn't just projecting his insecurities about cheating, you'd know deep down inside if he was, then being faithful is really what's going to help this relationship not end.
