Moving? New OB? Is this a bad idea?

So my husband hates his job. His boss is an a** and doesn't appreciate or respect hubby. He found a better opportunity, but the problem is his current boss isn't letting him quit (he's trying to give 2 weeks notice), boss wants 90 days.

I don't have 90 days because that means in June I'm traveling for my gender reveal (we live in OK and all family in GA; we drive because our dogs can't fly) then traveling back, and packing to move 2 hours away. And then not even settled in and I have to return to GA for my brother's wedding. So I'll be meeting my new OB for the first time around 2nd week of July. And I'm due in August... I'm not comfortable with that...

My husband said he'd handle it, but at the same time he vents to me and it's hard for me not to stress too. I hate that everything isn't running smoothly with this transition, it really is a better opportunity for us but we need to move at least within the next 30 days for me to be able to comfortably settle in.

I wouldn't worry about switching doctors. (If you're having a routine pregnancy and all is going well.) I switched at about 26 weeks in my last pregnancy.  Any good doctor would be happy to have you no matter what week you're at.

Eww that's awful. Did he sign a contact with his company that says he has to give a 90 days notice ? If not it's pretty standard to give a two weeks / 15 day notice. Anyway try not to stress, I know it's hard but your hubby is just venting and it sounds like he's going to take care of it. If he already has another job and all the negotiations are done and he has a start date he may just be able to burn this bridge.

My husband and I moved across the country when was 35 weeks pregnant a few years ago. I had met my new doctor twice and then I went into labor at 39 weeks. As long as you find a doctor willing to take you that late in your pregnancy it really isn't that big of a deal. To be fair though, my husband is military and didn't have a choice. I don't know how willing I'd be if it was a different situation because it is extremely stressful.
