period rant

So I just wanna rant real quick how I HATE my period. I finished a week and a half ago where there was no cramps and it was great, but of course that didn't last. I started my period again! It is so painful and heavy. This is bs! Only a week and a half before the next one starts? Why the hell is it being random all of a sudden? Geez, has anyone else ever had this happen to them?
