Anybody else sharing a room with baby?

So fiancé bailed after getting pregnant and moved out of state, go figure right!? So I moved back in with parents. (I'm 21 btw) 
So curious to know who all is sharing a room with their baby and how you possibly decorated the room, and what kind of furniture you have/had in the room since space is kinda limited for both mommy and baby stuff

Our baby will be in our room for the first year probably. We bought a pack n place with a changing table on it so he has his bed and his changer all in one. As far as decorating, we're not because let be honest. Decorating the room is more for the parent anyway. The baby does not care what is decorated lol.

Same happened to me w my first.. I had a crib at the foot of my bed.. she had adorable bedding, but the room wasn't decorated :(

Having your newborn in the room is pretty common. We'll have our little guy in the room for the first year(ish). We're not decorating really. He'll have a bassinet and a changing table and I have a chair for feeding.

Our baby will be exclusively in our room for at least 6 months, so we've not even bothered decorating a nursery.

They have a cot with fold down bit that acts as a changing table, and a comfy futon we can sit on when changing them/feeding them (then, when they get their own room, it'll go in there, so we can sleep in there if they're sick/or it'll come in handy over the years, I'm sure). I've also got some cheap fabric boxes for their clothes and changing supplies, and that's it. We put the cot near the window, so they'll be able to eventually look outside, and to be honest, I think that's all the decoration they're going to need for a while :) I think being able to see outside is way more interesting for a baby; constantly changing colours and seeing the world go by.

We're trying to do this on a budget, by only getting stuff as the baby needs it, and trying to get things that have multiple uses, or can be used as they grow up. So far, I think we've done pretty well :)

My son is 3 and has his own room . He still doesn't sleep there.  I'm pregnant with our third and plan on co-sleeping with this baby as well.  I've shared a space with both children thus far.  Trust me,  nighttime feeding and nappy changes will be so much easier when the baby is with you.  I ended up buying a pack and play  (one with a bassinet) for our son when he was born ... tucked it in the corner.. put a few cute decorations in the corner on a shelving unit and called it a day !! You will be totally fine and so will baby.

I'm sharing room with baby for first year or so. We have two separate closets, so he'll end up sharing one with hubs and I. His crib is in one side with stickers hanging not much decorations tho. And we don't have tons of furniture, just the bed tv stand and two chests
