Am I wrong to not test for Down syndrome?

My doctor asked me again yesterday if I wanted to take the test. I said no. I am low risk due to me being 25 and there's no history of it on my side or my fiance's side. I feel that the test won't make a difference due to fact if he or she has it I will still love him or her. Am I wrong to choose this option. Just feel like it is pointless.

I absolutely didn't... I feel all these test just stress you out when your not soppose to and like you said i was gonna love my daughter regardless❤️

If it makes no difference to you, then you don't NEED to do it lovely. 
I did it because I wanted to be prepared, but like you it wouldn't have changed anything if it was positive.

We didn't do the test either. We both said we wouldn't terminate the pregnancy if our little had Down Syndrome so we didn't see a point.

Nope. I opted out too. Your baby either has it or it doesn't. There's really nothing you can do , aside from terminating, and I would only consider that if the baby was terminal and in pain.

You are absolutely not wrong! You will love her no matter what. I have had it done both times just because I wanted to be prepared. If there were special classes, equipment, knowledge I needed to better take care of my babies then I wanted to be ahead of the game. I don't like those "I don't know what I'm doing" moments especially when it comes to my kids.

Glad to see all of this feedback..I've been debating as well! I only have till the 26th to test and either way I will love my baby and definitely bring him into the world! The only thing it would do is add stress the rest of my pregnancy if it came back positive! My Dr also informed me that the rate of false positives are through the roof... Talk about stress!!!😳

No, it was pointless for me nobody on either sides of our family has ever had it I knew it wasn't a possibility but I did it anyway bc I'm a first time mom. Came back 0% 🙄 like Duh I wish I could've just kept my blood & time that I wasted on that test.
