First time birth control user

So I'm on birth control and ever since I've been on it my sex drive isn't as high and I'm going through mega hot flashes. I'm on nexplanon and my cycle has been extended a few days but, along with the hot flashes I'm always tired and less sociable. This is my first time on it,  and I am a little nervous because this is new............................................................ does anyone have advice on how I feel I guess what I think is normal again? Lol
