Trying to have a baby 👶

So my bf and I decided that we're finally ready to have a baby but I was on the pills. The last time I had one was on the 23rd of March, the rest were sugar pills which I don't take anyways. We normally have sex almost every day but starting two days go I stop pushing his cum out after intercorse. I'm assuming my period is still on the "pill time" meaning my period should start after this Thursday coming up. Any advice on how to conceive ? And when should I take a pregnancy test?
