Hot Dogs: Ketchup or No?

In Chicago, people are very passionate about their hot dogs. A lot of people eat their hot dogs without ketchup, and some places won't even serve it. So is it okay to eat hot dogs with ketchup? I personally do, but I'd like to hear what others have to say about this.
