is it normal to cramp at the beginning?

I just found out I am pregnant and one day away from my expected AF. Is it normal to feel cramps like I'm getting my period? Not super uncomfortable but if I didn't already take 10 tests that said positive I would assume I'm getting AF. Just uterus growing maybe? I'm just nervous I guess. No blood or anything so I assume that's a good sign. Any comparable stories would be appreciated.

yup I had it up until 5.5wks. Still get them if I dont drink enough water or have bathroom troubles :) it's normal! only concerning if you are spotting, cramps are SUPER severe, or only on one side. You are good mama and congrats! The cramps were so worrisome to me 🙈

Yes it's definitely normal ! Evertime I was cramping I always thought something was wrong. But it's totally normal unless you start bleeding .

It's your uterus stretching :) will continue on and off for the next few weeks but aslong as there is no bleeding you're all good

I had lots of cramping. I think mine was round ligament pain. If it's only on one side, that can be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy. Or if the cramping is severe or doesn't subside ever that could be a problem. Don't hesitate to call someone if you're having an issue!
