What spelling would you use?

My SO and I are having a little boy this September and we've been thinking of using the name Ian/Iain...which spelling would you use? I really like the Iain spelling but I don't want it too be confusing for people.

I would pronounce Iain as E-ayn (rhymes with aim). Definitely stick to the original Ian in my opinion.

Ian.  The other spelling would be confusing to most people I think.  Pick whatever spelling you love,  and really who cares about what we all think . .. however your second spelling would have me stumped !

Ian is more traditional, if you want alternate ways and still pronounced like Ian, maybe try Eian or Eyan?? I love Eyan!! 😍
