Curious- how many followers do you have on insta and why do you use it?

This post is more to do about girls than the eve community. Instagram is known to attack thousands of girls' self esteems regularly. So my question is why do you continue to use/keep it? Do the likes really matter? Does follower count influence your self esteem? Really just wondering. I'm mostly on there for memes but feel free to comment how you feel about social media and females.

I do not have any social media other than this app. I am 17 years old as well, so not all teenagers or 'girls' have it. Sometimes I feel lost when all my friends talk about what was said or posted on Instagram or Facebook. I also love using my friend's filters on Snapchat for fun, but I won't ever make an account on anything like that until I am older because of all the hate that is happening on there. There is also way too much drama that I am not interested in participating in. Taking on high school and college is enough for me.

Social media (any kind) has and will never affect my self-esteem. The likes don't really matter to me either. I have FaceBook, Twitter, and Instagram. I don't really use FaceBook or Twitter, but I do use Instagram actively. I mainly just use it to keep up with my friends and for makeup artists/videos and stuff. Social media has never really had that kind of an impact on me. I use it solely for entertainment purposes.
