Advice please?

Any advice on weaning my 19 month old off of his pacifier? It's pretty much his go to for comfort.

I plan on packing them away and letting him scream for a few days... Won't be fun but it'll eventually calm down and he will learn to do without.

Out of sight out of mind worked for us. Thankfully. I've also had a friend put something bitter tasting on the tip of the paci. One taste of that and the paci wasn't wanted lol
