I am 39 weeks and 3 days. I am 2 1/2 to 3 cm dilated and 100% thinned. I have been having horrible back pain all day. It will not go away. Sometimes it gets really bad. Is the labor?

Does it come and go or is it constant? Have u tried timing them?

Unless it wraps around to the front, you've had a bloody show/water broke, and makes it hard to breath/really painful almost like period cramps then I'd say no. But you never know, if it's bothering you try drinking some water and call your obgyn!

With my first daughter all I had was back labor. I had absolutely no belly pain at all even up to pushing. I would say yes you are in labor. And it never hurts to get checked.
