We bought our crib four days before we found out we were having a girl. We were SO convinced that it was a boy and I think we subconsciously made purchases based on that because the crib that we picked out was a gorgeous, dark cherry wood that would've looked great in a forest themed nursery, which was our plan for a boy. Shortly after we found out our little soybean was Nora, I asked my husband if we should've gone with white instead. He said nah, the one we had was fine.
