Spermicide help?
Hey! So I'm planning on going to see my boyfriend - we'll have been together for 4 years when I do - and we've discussed having and trying sex. Neither of us is ready for a baby (he lives in England while I'm in the US) and we've talked very maturely about the whole thing for days now about how much protection we want and stuff. At first we were just going to use condoms, but we decided to maybe try a spermicide as well (either gel, foam, film - doesn't matter). However, I've heard/read horror stories from people who use the spermicides that they're very uncomfortable and burn. My question is, for the spermicide to be at the "most effective it can be", does it really matter how much of the spermicide is in the applicator? I've seen ones all the way from 3% to 28%!!
